Today, the Council Bluffs campus did loaded milkshake day. We brought in a few recipes for the students to try as well as a lot of toppings for everyone to enjoy with them. There were recipes for both smoothies and milkshakes. Everyone enjoyed the milkshakes and smoothies

It all began when the teachers presented the new PBL idea to us, a school garden. It was such an idea we couldn't believe we'd never thought to start one before. Teams were set up and we moved forward with new recruits on the architect, construction, agriculture, culinary, and media teams.

On February 13th, the Council Bluffs SLT rolled out a food drive to aid those affected by the government shutdown. We set a goal of 100 pounds of food by March 1st. We quickly exceeded that goal. We raised the goal to 300 pounds and on March 1st, we weighed all of the boxes and ended up with approximately 270...

On February 27th, the Minneapolis school united and piled in a vast array of vehicles to go to iFLY in Minnetonka. At approximately 10:00 A.M. the Secondary and Elementary shuffled towards the building and were greeted by a loud wind noise. After we entered, before our eyes laid a 12 wide tunnel with flight instructors showing their superior skills...

We recently went to the capitol building in Lincoln, NE. Third and fourth graders have been studying people, laws, and Democracy. The kids were given a 45 minute tour and the guide shared specific information about the history of the building. The columns were quite the sight to see. Some of them weighed 15 tons! We were able to get...

Some of the girls at our campus decorated cupcakes for their exploratory project. We experimented with different types of decorating techniques. One of the techniques was cutting the top off of the cupcake and cutting out a design and then putting the top back on. We had a ton of fun and it was a good way to forget about...

On February 12, the Portland Campus visited the Escape Games PDX escape rooms. If you aren't familiar with how an escape room works, you are locked in a room and given an hour to try to find sufficient clues to solve the mystery, unlock the door, and escape from the room.
