On Friday March 1st, the Seattle campus celebrated bacon day. We ate caramelized bacon strips and even played bacon pong (a twist on a well-known game). Another fun activity that the elementary played at recess was...

Seattle's Secret Snowflake!

By: Skylar Emtage

On January 22nd, Seattle participated in a gift exchange with Los Angeles and Kalispell. The maximum amount to spend was $20, and the gifts got quite creative! From silly sunglasses to stuffed animals, a calligraphy set and a high school survival kit, we all appreciated our epic gifts. Thank you Los Angeles and Kalispell!

Team Building Day!

How tall can you build a tower in 5 minutes with ordinary classroom materials? In Seattle we attempted to find out. We split up the school into two teams and gave them each 10 markers, 10 index cards, half a poster board, 2 plastic straws, and a clothespin. In addition to this, one team got clear packing tape and a pair of scissors and the other team got a roll of duct tape and a plastic knife and fork in lieu of scissors (in theory).

Seattle's Farm Field Trip!

By: Zane Norton (Grade 6) and Dylan Norton (Grade 10)

Hello everybody! The Seattle Campus did the coolest Field Trip ever! And you are lucky enough to hear about it! We went to a place called the Swan's Hill Farm. The day started like any other. We awoke at the same time and got to school at the same time in (almost) the same clothes. We all assembled at school, including Kandice Markham who was visiting from the Kalispell Campus, and then boarded the cars for quick ride to the farm!

I'm self-supporting and had to quit a full time job and move in with family in order to accomplish this goal...

Puzzle Break!

Seattle's new pastime!

In the Seattle Campus, we have found a new passion. Puzzles! Our Principal has been kindly providing us with the puzzles and the secondary students work together to complete them. Thank you Mr. Lutz! The tradition started last school year with the butterfly world map which was completed in two days with the efforts of 7 students. Since then, over the course of 4 weeks, we have completed 3 puzzles, one about Washington State, a map of the United States with the National Parks labeled, and one filled with clocks. We are now starting on one...
