Maple-Bacon Donuts

Friday the 1st happened to be National Bacon Day, but no bacon was in the school vicinity.  This was because SLT adjusted due to missing personnel and brought in homemade maple bacon donuts on Monday the 4th, instead.  The scrumptalicious donuts had bacon inside, were topped with a delicious maple glaze and crunchy bacon and some were even gluten free!  Fortunately, this ended up being a late start for us, so instead of having to arrive at school at inhumane times, SLT members worked furiously at one of their houses to make delicious maple bacon donuts for staff and students to all enjoy.  After testing a few to make sure they were edible, and leaving the smells of maple wafting throughout the kitchen, the donuts were then carted to school where they were scarfed down during collaboration!
